WHAT DO I DO NOW?

We understand that not everyone completes their course on the first try. Life happens, nerves happen, and sometimes the ride doesn’t go as planned. What matters most is that you’re here, and you’re ready to take the next step toward becoming a safer, more confident rider.

Motorcycling is about progress, not perfection. Each attempt adds to your experience, and every rider learns at their own pace. Not finishing a class doesn’t mean you’ve failed, it just means you’re still on the journey.

Missed Your Class?

If you were unable to start your class and missed it, you may be eligible to sign up for a standby seat in another class.

Didn’t Finish Your Class?

If you started a class but did not complete it, you will need to register for a new class  or private lesson in order to continue your training.

Didn’t pass test(s)

Do not be discouraged, many riders need more than one attempt to pass testing. Every ride is a chance to learn, and you’ve already gained valuable experience.

You do have options for retaking tests, and your coach has likely marked a recommendation on your “What do I do now? Where do I go from here?” form to help guide your next steps. Please review this as it’s tailored to give you the best chance of success next time. The links below will take you directly to the page that corresponds with what your coach recommended.

Important: Retests must be completed within 90 days of your class.

Stay determined, stay safe, and remember that every step you take now brings you closer to becoming a confident, skilled, safe rider.

Incomplete course

You either have not finished the eCourse for your class, or you were unable to show your coach proof of completion before the end of class.

To complete this step:

1.  Finish the eCourse.

2.  Email your completion certificate to info@cascademotosafety.com.

Once we receive your certificate and all course requirements are complete, your course completion card will be mailed to you.

Counsel out

At some point, you and/or your coach determined that continuing class was not moving in a positive direction. That’s okay, learning to ride is a process, and sometimes the best decision is to pause and consider other options.

There are additional paths available for building your riding skills, and we encourage you to explore the option that best fits your needs and comfort level. Here are some examples. Your coach may have marked one on your “What do I do now? Where do I go from here?” sheet.
